Brenda Mann Hammack teaches creative writing at Fayetteville State University, Poetry Barn, and the Eckleburg Workshops. Her first book, Humbug: A Neo-Victorian Fantasy in Verse, was published in 2013. Her poems have appeared in numerous journals including Gargoyle Magazine, Rhino, Mudlark, A capella Zoo, Menacing Hedge, and Bone Bouquet. She serves as editor of Glint Literary Journal. Hammack’s current project is a collection of stories based on transcripts of the Pendle witchcraft trials of 1612.
